JACOBS RIDGE PARK

Public BBQ

Jacobs Ridge Park packs considerable charm modest footprint feeling more pocket-sized nature reserve than typical suburban park distinctly. Towering trees generate lovely shade canopy, blessing scorching days, providing sufficient fresh air momentarily forgetting suburban location effectively. BBQ facilities perfectly adequate family barbecues though toilet breaks require elsewhere planning without public amenities regrettably. Size compensates through variety admirably: decent playground occupies little ones whilst older kids shoot hoops basketball court or hit free tennis court, refreshing rarity appreciated. Man-made creek adds pleasant water feature though algae growth suggests Mother Nature's enthusiastic territory reclamation efforts underway naturally.
